Hi and welcome to our Fusion website.
Today is the first day of having or blog up and running and we're glad you've decided to stop in.
We're two glass jewelry artists who are passionate about our work and hope you like our designs as much as we like designing them. We began this journey as two people (we will post our bios soon) who shared a love of design and a passion for glass. We fully intended to study this craft and produce beautiful one-of-a-kind dichroic and art glass pieces of jewelry only for ourselves. But it wasn't long before people began buying them right off of our necks and ears. I'll never forget the first piece I sold. It was after a conference sitting with collegues over a glass of wine discussing the day, when two ladies began bidding on the piece I was wearing. It was one of my first favorites, called "Bad Moon Rising" and it wasn't for sale. The same was happening to my future partner across the table, but it was a man wanting to purchase hers for his wife. Well, hey...eventually we caved and a business was born. We have been thinking up new designs and new glass combinations ever since and are having the time of our lives. We sign and date each piece and still name each of them.
You may ask, "How in the world do you think of all those names for all of those peices?", but I have to tell you that many times when we open the kiln doors the pieces just whisper (or shout) their name to us.
We have all kinds of exciting things planned for this winter. In November, we're slotted to teach classes at our local community college on designing dichroic glass pieces and we hope to start a "How To" question and answer section here on our website.

We will be there from Thursday afternoon on the 6th through Sunday the 9th when the mall closes.
